Music and Movement – Tools for Transformation at the High Holidays: Join Rabbi Sarah Graff and Jeff Schwarz for an immersion in the musical melodies, physical postures, and stirring words of our High Holiday prayers.  Whether you are new to Jewish prayer or have a lifetime of Jewish experiences, you are invited to join the conversation.
Class #1 – Overview of the musical modes of the High Holidays with a focus on some specific Rosh Hashanah prayers.  Led by Rabbi Graff and Jeff Schwarz
Class #2 – The Amidah for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – music, movement, and the overall structure of this major prayer.  Led by Rabbi Graff
Class #3 – Kol Nidre – Led by Jeff Schwarz
Geological and Spiritual Transformation: You’re invited to learn from Dr. Ray Pestrong about geological transformation, and from Rabbi David Booth about inner spiritual transformation. Jumping from modern geology to Maimonides, this course will demonstrate just how necessary dynamism is to life.
In the Hands of the Potter: Join the talented ceramicist Jacques Adler for a three-session unit on pottery. Participants will have a chance to transform clay into a usable ritual item expressing a value or celebration in their life.  This hands-on workshop is limited to 10 students.
