Call for Volunteers for the High Holidays

Consider helping others this holiday season. We will have many opportunities for you to volunteer for both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

Greeters and Ushers serve a very important function at our synagogue.  They ensure that the spiritual experience for all worshipers is paramount during the High Holiday services.  They will point people in the right direction, hand out machzorim/prayer books, and greet people as they enter services.

Much help is needed throughout the High Holiday season; just two hours of your time can make a difference.

All volunteers will receive an informational packet that describes the ushering duties and assignment(s).  High school juniors and seniors are welcome as volunteers. This is a great opportunity to get community service hours and we can use your help again this year!

Don’t delay, sign up for two hours today by contacting Aviva at, or by calling the office at 650-948-7498.
