Kol Emeth’s NESS (Nurturing Excellence in Synagogue Schools) project is moving along well. Four subcommittees are now working toward a comprehensive reform of our K-8 educational programs.  They are focused on the following areas:  Strategy and Leadership; Culture and Community; Curriculum; and Family Education.

NESS is a project of the Bureau of Jewish Education and is modeled on a program created by the Auerbach Central Agency of Jewish Education in Philadelphia. NESS is made possible through the generous support of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties and PELIE.
